Brik

The Brik is a very versatile, small form factor device, ideal for mounting on the back of a monitor, but can also be tucked away above a suspended ceiling, or any other convenient location for the job.

A Brik can be used as simple display driver, delivering images to a monitor, or as a simple and convenient means to replay and download footage.

Briks can work on their own, receiving images directly from ONVIF compliant cameras, or as part of a bigger distributed system. They can be driven from a mouse, a joystick, a touchscreen or remotely from a LOOK workstation.

REK

REK units record IP connected cameras. Larger systems use many REKs in parallel. If the application demands long retention periods, REKs can accommodate as much storage as needed.

REK units have advanced video analytic capabilities and can greatly assist the process of surveillance.

The REK unit operates in a headless mode, meaning that it does not use a local monitor output, its output being streamed to the Brik unit, explained above.

Look

Our Look workstation is the command and control centre. From here, an operator can view, replay, copy, control and analyse. Along with CCTV video, LOOK may also be interfacing to alarm panels, perimeter fences, seismic sensors and various third-party ancillaries.

Map data and building/site plans can be displayed by LOOK, including data from all of the interfaces above. Sensors are overlaid on the maps to provide an immediate indication of where something is happening.

The Look workstation alerts operators to video analysis in real-time, as well as allowing retro-analysis of any archived footage.

Katflap

This is our cloud storage facility. What does that mean? Essentially, it means you store data on infrastructure that we manage, remote from your premises. Katflap can be securely accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, and by any device with a browser.

Katflap can store video, pictures, documents; in fact, any data you care to upload. Various tools are incorporated to allow many of these file formats to be viewed online.

Need to share something? Simply send a secure link directly from Katflap.

What do you need?

It sounds flippant, but our approach is that there’s always a solution to the challenges our clients might bring, the only question is, can a solution be found in a timely manner and within budget?

Often, a similar challenge has been put to us before, and hence the answer is a small modification to an existing solution. Sometimes, we have to start from scratch, but always we’ll give an honest opinion of what’s involved, how long it’s likely to take, and how much it might cost.

It doesn’t cost anything to discuss a potential project, and we don’t employ any high-pressure sales tactics. If we think we can help, we’ll gather as much information as possible, and put together a proposal, with no obligation.
